Sr. Executive/ Asst. Manager-Sea Import

Role & responsibilities

• Looking all Sea Import Department
• IGM filing.
• Providing the LCL Shipment rate with Negotiate with agent
• Follow up with Agents for all bookings and finalise the buying timely
• Monitor all booking reports and filter the healthy data
• Track and trace shipments as required. To ensure pro-active customer communication, like booking deliveries in advance or notifying customers of delays.
• Manage all operational works related to the Agent / Consignee
• Communicate effectively and timely with customers, other Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and in person.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, pro-actively monitor shipment in-transit and keep customer appraised with regards to arrival times, delays or transit issues and help to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations at all times.
• Ensure all communications are professional, timely and appropriately handled using the
  best medium, for both internal and external correspondence.
• Delivery best in class customer service to our customers at all times
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated
• Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships Shipping Lines and others
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems, as per the operating process standards.
• Before leaving each day a complete check of the workflow is complete and any exceptions are dealt with before the day end.
• Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, , and customer requirements.
• Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Preferred candidate profile

2-7 years of experience of Sea Import operations & documentations.
