Lead Android

We’re looking for a dynamic, flexible, results oriented professional to lead a team of highly skilled engineers who deliver polished features on a consistent basis to our care management platform. We work in a high paced environment, deploying code every two weeks to thousands of users

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Experience with Gradle, Android Studio, JAVA, Kotlin * Proven experience in Android app development, with a focus on wearable devices with a focus on Kotlin programming language. * Experience with health and fitness tracking applications. * Knowledge of Samsung-specific APIs (Preferable Samsung Watch Knox, Pro Kiosk) and features for Galaxy Watches. * Previous experience in developing applications for smartwatches or wearables. * Good hands on experience in Profiling and Debugging the apps on the wearables * Good hands on experience in creating Documentation for regulatory submission * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools. * Conduct compatibility testing across various Samsung Galaxy Watch models and Android smartphones to ensure a consistent and reliable user experience. * Good knowledge of the continuous deployment and integration process.

Manage the development and deployment processes – make sure that the features are shipped optimally, and product stays healthy once they hit production. • Design, review, write and test code – this is hands-on engineering role, and you will be directly involved in the design and development of new features, writing, reviewing and testing code. • Insist on the highest standards and create functional and engaging features that will delight our users. • Provide on-call 24/7 rota for the mobile apps and meet agreed SLAs for MTTR. • Provide mentorship and feedback to teammates to make your team the best version of itself. Motivate and encourage everyone to give their best work. • Report to the Engineering Manager for Mobile App - own the technical delivery of the in-house and outsourced teams.
