Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements

Location: Pune

WFO mandatory: Though it is currently 3 days a week, the candidate should be willing to 5 days a week

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in any Engineering discipline from reputed engineering college
8-10 years of experience in Software Automation Testing including at least 5 years of recent experience should be with mobile test automation using Java and Appium
Strong understanding of OOPS concepts
Strong hands-on experience in using Page Object Model, TestNg or Junit, Maven or Gradle
Strong hands-on experience to design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts.
Good knowledge on test design techniques.
Knowledge to explore and identify automation solutions
Familiarity with the software development process, including specification, quality assurance, and documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to converse fluently with multiple types of audiences ranging from managers, architects and partners.
Flexibility under changing conditions and the ability to multi-task between projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Nice to have experience with back-end and web front-end automation testing
Experience in Agile Scrum development methodology
Keen interest in new technologies and their timely adoption
Ability to work in a heterogeneous environment consisting of multiple languages and technologies.

Job Responsibilities

As Mobile Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automated testing of mobile applications.Identify and develop high quality test automation scripts for mobile applications
Collaborate with architects, product designers, product owners, engineers to implement high-quality test automation solution
Proactively and continuously evaluate and address issues related to test automation, test coverage, test framework
Research and prototype new ideas, technologies and patterns required to increase automated test coverage. For example, in addition to other measures, this will require identifying ways to automate test scenarios that are currently considered non-automatable
Take full ownership of the initiative and deliver it end to end
