IT Assurance Specialist

Position: IT Assurance Specialist

Qualification: Bachelors Degree

Experience: 5+ years

Job Location: Pune

Responsibilities: • Perform technology control testing in the areas of system access, IT general computing controls (ITGCC), application (automated) controls, and (or) IPE (Information Produced by Entity) testing

• Maintain documentation of business processes, risks, and controls, including flowcharts, policies, and other applicable data
• Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and the efficiency of performance of process, systems and people performing the activities reviewed
• Identify, discuss, and document the exceptions
• Perform Segregation of Duty (SOD) analysis for applications (if required)
• Use Micro Strategy, Oracle E-Business Suite, Excel or Audit Control Language (ACL) software to conduct data mining and analysis in support of control testing. Experience and Education: A Bachelors Degree is required along with a minimum of 5+ years experience in the field of IT Audit and Controls (including IT General Controls, Auto controls & IPE Testing); a Master’s Degree is a plus, with preference for any of the following disciplines: • Demonstrated work experience in the areas of data analysis, problem solving • Ability to utilize data mining software/tools is highly desired • Previous experience working in SOX testing in an Oracle ERP is highly desired. • Experience in conducting Segregation of Duty (SOD) analysis for applications including ERP systems • Prior experience performing IT audits and/or testing technology controls is highly preferred • Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel); experience with Visio is a plus Certifications: Certifications are considered a plus with preference given to the following: •Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) •Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) •Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) •Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is required along with a minimum of 5+ years experience in the field of IT Audit and Controls (including IT General Controls, Auto controls & IPE Testing); a Master’s Degree is a plus, with
