Assistant Manager - MIS Reporting & Data Analysis

Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for our MIS team. The ideal candidate will not only be hands-on with advanced Excel functions but will also have a strong ability to analyze data, derive actionable insights, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting business decisions through data-driven insights and robust reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze complex data reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Utilize advanced Excel features (formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.) to create, modify, and maintain detailed reports and dashboards.
• Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• Create clear, visually compelling data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reporting solutions that meet business needs.
• Continuously monitor and improve reporting processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve performance and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to create meaningful and visually appealing data visualizations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a reporting or data analysis role is preferred.
