About the job:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and monitoring all aspects of construction projects, including Project site management, programming, civil works, structural, architectural, MEP works, testing and commissioning, and handover, etc.
Candidates with direct experience in Data Center construction will be given preference.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, environmental policies, and local laws as per visibility.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
- Manage the schedule and resources for the entire scope of work, including civil works, finishes, MEP, and identify and mitigate any risks or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks, issues, and changes that may affect the project's scope, cost, quality, or schedule.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and evaluations to ensure quality control, safety performance, and client/lessor satisfaction.
- Oversee and review design drawings, specifications, shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and as-built documents.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and other project documents to relevant parties as required.
- Resolve any conflicts, disputes, or claims that may arise during project execution, and escalate to senior management when necessary.
- Review and recommend the Construction Management Plan (Construction Methods, Planning, Coordination, Quality Control/Assurance, Testing, and Implementation Plan).
- Review and monitor the program, site progress, and quality of work.
- Review the working programs and mitigation processes in the event of delays.
- Routine site walks with the QA/QC team to ensure that lease partner representatives are aware of the project requirements and specifications.
- Routine site walks with the GC and packaged contractors' safety team to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct weekly audits on the QA/QC documents and COMPASS implementation.
- Conduct weekly audits on EHS documents provided by the EHS team.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of work experience in Project Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Team handling
