Assistant Manager Exports

1. Export Operations:
   
• Oversee end-to-end export processes, including documentation, shipping, and logistics.
• Coordinate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Manage and monitor international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
2. International Business Development:
   
• Identify and develop new export markets for laboratory glassware products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors, agents, and clients.
• Attend international trade fairs and exhibitions to promote the brand and identify new opportunities.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
   
• Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
• Provide technical information and product recommendations tailored to client needs.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
   
• Ensure adherence to export regulations, including customs documentation and international trade standards.
• Stay updated on global trade policies, tariffs, and export documentation requirements.
5. Sales & Reporting:
   
• Prepare monthly sales reports and analyze trends to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage payments, credit terms, and export incentives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in International Business, Commerce, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
• Experience: 57 years of experience in export operations or international sales, preferably in laboratory glassware or a related industry.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of export documentation and logistics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international trade regulations.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business development and client meetings.Role & responsibilities
