Role & responsibilities

• Preparing and Conducting lectures.
• Present their research.
• Publish papers and participate in department meetings and committees.
• Should have strong communication and organizational skills.
• To teach and mentor students effectively and make them placeable.
• To inspire and engage students in their subject matter.
• To adapt to changing academic and technological environments.
• Helps Ph. D students in planning their projects and analysis of their data satisfactory.

Preferred candidate profile

• Post doctoral experience in Bioinformatics, and or computational Genomics.
• Strong research profiles in Bioinformatics, with a focus of computational genomics and Next generation sequencing.
• Excellent Bioinformatics programming skills in Python and R, as shown by quality and publications and articles in the top journals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work in teams.
• Should perform departmental activities in addition to teaching and practicals.
