About SPARKL : SPARKL GLA Technology Business Incubator is a registered as SOCIETY FOR PROMOTION AND ACCELERATION OF KNOWLEDGE BASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP under the society's registration act 1860. It is Technology Business Incubator hosted by GLA University, Mathura. The incubator is supported by Start-In-UP initiative of Govt of Uttar Pradesh and MSME BI for MSME Incubation Scheme.

Post/Job Title : Manager - Events & Outreach

Reporting to : General Manager - Incubation

Job Location : Mathura, Uttar Pradesh (On Site)

Job Purpose

Manager-Events & Outreach will be responsible for organizing events for start-ups at incubator, as well as in other nearby cities. The role would require design & executing events at different levels such as awareness & motivation to more focused workshops on Start-up & entrepreneurship. The objective would be to create a funnel approach for having pipeline for incubating startups & innovators. The said role would also facilitate more outreach events, hackathons, flagship events & other custom events for the benefit & development of overall entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.

Principle Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Design an on-campus event & workshop calendar
• Create Custom Workshops & events specifically tailored to create pipeline for Incubation
• Design & implement flagship entrepreneurship events at campus
• Plan individual speakers' sessions from start-up founders, Angel Investor, Enablers at different levels such as awareness/motivation to more advanced
• Work with E-Cell & other clubs contributing to innovation & entrepreneurial ecosystem of the host institute
• Prepare documentation and report of events & measure its impact.

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Commerce or Humanities, etc., from a recognized University. Master's degree preferred.
• Candidate with experience of working in innovation/entrepreneurship promoting organization or incubator will be preferred.
• Good Spoken & written Communication.
• Well versed with knowledge of Indian Start-up Ecosystem.

Remuneration : As per incubation ecosystem standards, depending on experience and skills.
