Job Title: Vigilance Executive
Job Summary: As a Vigilance Executive, your role is vital in maintaining a secure and compliant environment for the organization. You will be responsible for monitoring and detecting fraudulent activities, ensuring adherence to company policies, and promoting ethical practices within the organization. Your vigilance will help safeguard the organization's reputation, assets, and the well-being of its employees. Additionally, the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Solar Site Vigilance Department plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants. This department is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining solar PV systems to prevent potential issues, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Regular monitoring or inspection and investigation of any suspicious activities or violations of company policies, including fraud, corruption, or unethical behaviour.
Conduct thorough internal investigations and gather relevant evidence to support findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective preventive measures and controls.
Develop and maintain comprehensive vigilance policies and procedures in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and training to employees on ethical practices, fraud detection, and prevention strategies.
Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in vigilance and risk management.
Prepare detailed reports and analysis on vigilance activities, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies or legal counsel, as needed.
Conduct periodic audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of vigilance programs and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Diploma and Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Minimum year 3 of relevant experience.
Proven experience in a similar vigilance, compliance, or risk management role.
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to vigilance and fraud prevention.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in conducting internal investigations and compiling evidence.
Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
