We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate, Data Processing

In this role you will be interpreting data and turning it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions, by bringing together information from various sources and interpreting patterns and trends.

• Identify, recommend and implement process efficiencies
• Strive for quality and continuously improve based on feedback and lessons learned
• Act as a buddy and assist more junior members of the team
• Maintain a record of and report progress as the need arises
• Communicate with quality check team and team lead to resolve escalated issues as needed
• Build relationship memos as the need arises for relationship managers
• Optimally communicate with Middle Office team, Line of Business, Divisional Compliance Officer and Relationship Managers for collecting missing information and raising issues as appropriate
• Screening customers using tools such as Lexis/Nexis, World Check etc

• B.Com/M.Com with good domain knowledge
• Advanced Communication
• Influencing skills
• Problem solving and decision-making

• Relevant experience in Capital Markets or Bank AML and / or KYC experience
• Understanding of Capital Markets Business
• Strong research skills along with previous experience working for a research or data provider
• Should be able to adjust quickly to different work situations; remain composed under pressure and stressful situations
• Proven understanding of operational behaviors on different types of businesses (money service business, wholesale, import & export, manufacturing, professional service providers, etc.
