Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Testing Analyst specializing in Rest Assured and Selenium with Java. In this role, you will ensure our software products' quality and reliability by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify issues early in the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Automated Tests: Develop comprehensive automated test scripts using Rest Assured for API testing and Selenium for web-based application testing.
• Execute Test Cases: Run automated tests to validate APIs' performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Collaborate With Teams: Work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly and enhance overall product quality.
• Identify Defects: Log defects accurately using bug tracking tools like JIRA; follow up on defect resolution.
• Maintain Test Suites: Regularly update existing test suites to accommodate new features or changes in applications.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for test cases, procedures, results, and other relevant information.

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs using Rest Assured
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web application testing
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment(CI/CD) pipelines
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software testing/automation engineering roles
