Process Developer, Finance – Accounts Payable

Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer, Finance – Accounts Payable 

In this role, you will perform daily processing of invoices and other payments. Working as part of a team to ensure all payment requests are made as per the Service Level Agreements. 

Responsibilities 

1. Projects and ad-hoc requests:  Production of answers and resolutions to requests from key finance stakeholders. 
2. Accounts payable function shall report to the Finance Accountant. Accounts Payable executive to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner 
3. Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures 
4. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data 
5. Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted. 
6. Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements 
7. Generate reports detailing accounts payables status. 
8. Understand expense accounts and cost centers 
9. Training end-users on new reports and dashboards 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

1. Degree in Finance (B. Com), or equivalent to Finance  
2. Experience in the financial sector, preferably in an insurance company 
3. Experienced in P2P - Accounts Payable
