Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst - Da ta Analyst
We are seeking an accomplished and skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Genpact. This role requires superior technical expertise in managing large data sets, SQL query development, data management, ETL processes, and report automation, along with a demonstrated ability to enhance data accuracy and streamline workflows. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex business requirements into impactful data solutions, have strong troubleshooting skills in SQL and SQL Server, and deliver high-quality client service, particularly when handling sensitive data. A willingness to train and support other team members as needed is essential.
Responsibilities
Apply advanced and predictive analysis to generate strategic and operational insights, supporting decision-making across multiple business areas, with a focus on handling large data sets. Work directly with external clients to identify needs, develop tailored data solutions, and ensure high-quality results that align with business objectives .
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and drive efficiencies across data processes.
Partner with upper management to strategize on technology needs, including system upgrades, repairs, and migrations, to support the evolving needs of the organization.
Develop and maintain complex ETL processes to ensure accurate data transformation and integration within data warehouse environments.
Build and automate comprehensive reporting solutions utilizing SQL, PowerBI , VBA, and Visual Studio, reducing manual reporting efforts and enhancing data accessibility.
Conduct regular data audits to ensure compliance with data access protocols and enhance data integrity within large-scale data systems.
Assess organizational needs and design scalable, repeatable solutions to meet client objectives , particularly for reinsurance clients, ensuring efficient handling of high-volume data.
Troubleshoot issues within SQL and SQL Server environments, providing quick and effective solutions to maintain data integrity and workflow efficiency.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear and insightful communication.
Lead and coordinate project teams in an Agile environment, managing timelines, troubleshooting issues quickly, and delivering high-quality result
Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and other team members as needed, promoting best practices in data analysis and management.
Serve as a proactive problem solver in collaborative, team-oriented settings, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness to meet evolving business needs
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Proven expertise in managing large data sets, SQL query development, ETL processes, data compilation, and report automation.
Strong troubleshooting skills in SQL and SQL Server , with the ability to quickly resolve complex issues.
Proficiency in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting, along with experience in VBA and Visual Studio for automation and advanced data processing.
Strong client service skills, with a commitment to managing and securing sensitive data.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external clients, internal teams, and upper management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain client and colleague relationships .
Robust project management skills with experience leading teams in Agile environments, achieving timely and high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and a results-oriented mindset.
Willingness to train and support other team members, enhancing overall team capabilities.
Proven expertise in managing large client data migrations.
Preferred Experience
Experience in developing strategic insights and operational analyses for decision-making with large data sets within divisions such as reinsurance and claims.
Expertise in data audits, ensuring compliance with data access protocols, and maintaining data accuracy throughout the reporting lifecycle.
Designing and implementing automated reporting solutions that reduce manual reporting.
Strong understanding of data integrity and validation requirements
Proven track record in creating scalable, effective data solutions for handling high-volume data efficiently.
