Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Cypress and Javascript

We are seeking an experienced Lead Consultant with a strong background in Cypress and JavaScript to lead our Project/Team/Consulting Practice and drive excellence in end-to-end software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing automated testing solutions, a deep understanding of test frameworks, and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Lead and oversee the development and execution of automated test strategies using Cypress.

Define and implement best practices for test automation and quality assurance processes.

Collaborate with clients to understand their testing needs and provide strategic recommendations.

Mentor and guide junior team members and foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and QA engineers on best practices for test automation and JavaScript development.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and JavaScript development and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications we seek in you

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress and java script.

In-depth knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, including BDD/TDD.

Preferred qualifications

Banking / Capital Markets domain experience.

Good Communication and leadership skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.
