Lead Consultant - SAP BOXI

Location : Mumbai, Bangalore

Hybrid - 3 Days WFO

The Senior SAP BOXi Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated Business Intelligence solutions using the SAP BusinessObjects suite. This role requires an in-depth understanding of BI best practices, advanced reporting techniques, and data modeling to deliver actionable insights across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that BI solutions meet business needs and drive performance.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop universe using Information Design Tool

- Design and develop complex reports using SAP BOXi tools like WebIntelligence, rich client

- Utilize advanced features of Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards to create dynamic, interactive reports that meet user requirements.

- Plan and implement automated bursting of reports via publication services and scheduling.

- Conduct thorough performance tuning and optimization of reports and queries to enhance system responsiveness and reduce load times.

- Implement best practices for report design, data retrieval, and overall system performance.

- Perform requirement analysis; provide effort estimation with knowledge of SDLC and QA/Testing methodologies and

deliverables

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 6+ years of extensive experience with SAP BOXi development and administration

- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).

- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions and process improvements.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications/skills :

- Strong Knowledge in Business Objects Universe Designer using IDT.

- SAP Business Objects Reporting and Data Visualization experience using WebIntelligence and Dashboards.

- Should have used Derived tables, Universe restrictions, and Aggregate Awareness features in Designer

- Expertise in dimensional data modeling, Star Schema modeling, fact and dimensional table design, physical and logical data modeling.

- Strong Knowledge in Writing SQL and PL SQL using Oracle.

- Experience with migrating reports.

- Excellent communication and consulting skills Ability to work independently.
