Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan targeting Central Govt Ministries, Govt and Accounts based out of Delhi
• Engage with senior officials and department heads, building strong relationships.
• Manage and deliver Sales Quota Assigned
• Conduct market research and stay updated on relevant policies and initiatives.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
• Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams for seamless project implementation.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (higher degree a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in government sales, focusing on Central Govt Ministries.
• Strong understanding of Sales cycle and Govt. sales eco system.
• Extensive network of contacts within Central Govt Ministries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with Central Govt Ministries' procurement processes must.
• Willingness to travel within the Delhi and adjoining region
