Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager for our Accounts department based in our Jaipur Head Office. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong track record in accounts finalization, balance sheet preparation, and overall financial management. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and driving financial strategies to support the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Finalization: Lead the finalization of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Balance Sheet Management: Supervise the preparation and review of balance sheets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze balance sheet items and recommend improvements.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, addressing any issues or findings.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development within the department.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies and budgets. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
• Risk Management: Monitor financial risks and implement controls to mitigate potential issues. Ensure the integrity of financial data and safeguard company assets.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record in a senior management role.
• Education: Professional accounting certification - CA is highly mandatory.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
