Responsibilities:

Must Have:

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through research, networking, and outreach efforts.

Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify leads based on criteria like budget, need, and decision-making power.

Conducting Sales Calls/Meetings: Engage with prospects through calls, meetings, or video conferences to understand their needs and present solutions.

Presenting Products or Services: Demonstrate the value of products/services and explain their benefits to prospects.

Negotiating and Closing Deals: Work with prospects to overcome objections, negotiate terms, and close sales.

Maintaining Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers for repeat business and referrals.

Managing Sales Pipeline: Track all sales activities and progress through a CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting.

Meeting Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company.

Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with other teams such as marketing, customer success, and product to align on strategy and goals.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on sales progress, opportunities, and any challenges faced.

Customer Support: Assist customers with any post-sale inquiries, issues, or follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of MEDDIC or MEDDPICC methodology
• Prior sales training and certification

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant sales experience and a track record of achieving quota (SDR/AE management experience a strong plus)
• A bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred in many cases.
• Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, manage the pipeline, and report on sales progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with prospects and clients.
• Strong presentation skills for showcasing products or services.
• Customer-focused with a solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to identify client pain points and offer effective solutions tailored to their needs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple prospects, follow-up tasks, sales opportunities and effective time management to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in products, services, or market conditions.
• A strong understanding of the industry or market in which we are selling, including competitor offerings and trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development
