Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Managing inventory: Forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory management
• Negotiating: Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers
• Managing vendors: Building and maintaining relationships with vendors
• Tracking Metrics: Tracking metrics to reduce expenses
• Collaborating: Collaborating with stakeholders
• Processing orders: Reviewing and processing purchase orders
• Evaluating suppliers: Evaluating suppliers and reviewing product quality
• Motivating and managing a committed team.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: BTech in Mechanical.
•  Master or Post Graduate Degree in Material Management will be a plus!
• 10 to 15 years in the Procurement functions of which more than 5 years at the Senior Position in the Project Procurement
• Experience in the Automobile / Engineering /Chemical Industry is a must have.
• Should have handled minimum 100 Crores of Engineering and Project Purchase.
