Job Title: Azure Systems Engineer (L3 Support) Microsoft 365 and Intune Specialist

Job Summary:

Geakminds is seeking a highly skilled Azure Systems Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure AD (now Entra ID), Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Intune to join our IT team. This role requires a professional who can help us modernize and secure our IT infrastructure by managing the upgrade to Windows 11 Enterprise, migrating to Microsoft 365, and implementing remote device management.

The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with an in-depth understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies and will play a crucial role in streamlining our IT processes to support productivity,
collaboration, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PC and Laptop Upgrades

• Manage and execute the upgrade of all company-owned PCs and laptops from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Enterprise.
• Ensure that all devices are compliant with company policies and security standards.

2. Azure Active Directory / Entra ID Management

• Create and manage Entra IDs (formerly Azure AD identities) for all employees and ensure proper role-based access control (RBAC) is in place.
• Join all company devices to the Azure AD domain for centralized management and streamlined access control.

3. Microsoft 365 Migration and Administration

• Lead the migration of email services from Gmail to Microsoft 365, including planning, data migration, and user onboarding.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and ensure smooth integration with existing IT infrastructure.

4. Device Management with Microsoft Intune

• Implement Microsoft Intune for remote device management, enabling functionalities such as remote wipe, device configuration, and compliance enforcement.
• Create policies in Intune for device security and ensure remote devices meet compliance standards.

5. Documentation and Training

• Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, including user access, device management, and troubleshooting guides.
• Train and build a highly skilled infrastructure team in Geakminds.

6. Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with other IT staff and management to ensure IT projects align with company objectives.
• Serve as the point of contact for all Microsoft 365 and Azure AD-related support requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Intune in a mid-to-large organization. The candidate must have hands-on experience migrating email services from other providers (such as Gmail, Exchange, etc.) to Microsoft 365.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 admin center. Proven experience with Microsoft Intune for device management and security. Hands-on experience with Windows 11 Enterprise deployment and configuration. Familiarity with device and application deployment using Azure AD and Intune.
• Certification: Microsoft certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Scripting and Automation: Experience with PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and enhance productivity.
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices, especially within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
• Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
