We are seeking a talented and experienced Automation Tester proficient in either Java or JavaScript, with expertise in Playwright and a strong background in API testing. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. Your expertise in Java or JavaScript, Playwright, and API testing will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our software delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java or JavaScript and Playwright framework to verify the functionality, performance, and scalability of web applications.
• Design and implement automated tests for API endpoints to validate data integrity, functionality, and performance.
• Collaborate with the QA team and developers to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely affect the existing functionality of the application.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and deployment.
• Generate test reports, document test results, and provide feedback to stakeholders on the quality of the software under test.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in test automation to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a JavaScript Automation Tester or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript programming language.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks (e.g., Puppeteer, Selenium).
• Solid understanding of API testing concepts and experience with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, QA processes, and techniques.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
