Manager, Quality Assurance

Gartner is looking for a QA Manager with a specialization in Functional, Automation Performance testing. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate, motivated and technically strong QA Manager who will primarily improve upon and facilitate implementation of QA best practices within the organization.

What you will do

• Provide guidance and mentorship to QA engineers within the team.

• Create detailed and comprehensive test strategies.

• Manage QA/test processes for projects, provide peer/resource guidance for project testing.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather automation requirements, design automated tests and implement scalable test automation solutions

• Design, develop and manage automated testing artifacts. Provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing.

• Ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments are not compromised.

• Ensure adherence to standardized QA policies, processes and documentation standards.

• Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal test cases reviews.

• Identify training needs to facilitate the professional development of QA engineers.

What you will need:

Strong IT professional with 10+ years of experience in software testing (websites and/or mobile applications). The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.

Must have-

• 10+ years hands-on experience testing different applications for both manual and automated tests.

• 5+ years of experience with test automation and tools like Selenium Java.

• 5+ years of experience managing/leading QA/Test processes team.

• Strong understanding of basic concepts to testing principles, TDD, and all types of Black/Grey Box testing.

• Knowledge of Test management tools, JIRA, etc

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Who you are :

• Graduate in B.E./B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant professional experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

• Able to work within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

• Very good with organization, multitasking, and prioritization.
