Job Description
Job Summary
You will be part of an Engineering IT organization, providing dedicated support to the engineering community, including engineers and test labs, by managing and troubleshooting both application and hardware systems (where applicable) to ensure seamless operations and efficiency.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management
- Oversee and manage the Rescale Cloud platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Deliver seamless license infrastructure solutions tailored to the needs of engineering users.
- Implement cost reduction strategies to enhance operational efficiency and enhance cost visibility.
- Provide support for AWS Parallel Cluster environments to address high-performance computing needs.
- Provide support for license and Rescale Platform operations, addressing user queries and issues.
- Manage ServiceNow tickets, ensuring the ticket queue is clean and organized, and all tickets are resolved without breaching SLA.
2. Problem Solving & Systems Administration
- Good mindset for rapid problem solving and pro-active troubleshooting using mistake proofing and automation
- Basic infrastructure & network troubleshooting skills
- Hardware-based licensing / knowledge on licensing fundamentals
- Windows & storage administration.
- Automation of redundant checks over network or application operations.
3. Systems & Technical Support / Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Basic knowledge on Unix / Linux based environment
- Knowledge on network troubleshooting and supporting patch rooms (with support from vendors as needed)
- Experience in managing and setting up specialized equipment in Protoshops
- Knowledge on software exploration and evaluation, prototyping
- Stakeholder management, Vendor Management
- Basic knowledge on python/java coding
Experience Required
At least 2-3 yrs of experience in Software development lifecycle (waterfall/Agile) project management, with knowledge on cloud technologies and MS office tools

- Self-motivated and ready to learn new topics by self-exploration
- Have a Go-getter attitude
- Good mindset for problem solving and pro-active troubleshooting using mistake proofing and automation
