Technology Specialist

Responsible for Development & Project Management of technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Creates prototypes, codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications. Should be able to build a strong relationship with the relevant Business partners, Business and development team.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Agile Applications development

• Understand Business requirements and how they translate in to application features
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Mentor & guide the technical team in accomplishing the application development as per timeline
• Assure IT solutions deployed in the business remain security compliant and are continuously improved to drive better business results.

2. Continuous process Improvement

• Should be able to identify business problems and recommend right solutions.
• Should be able to get the solutions implemented working with internal team and vendors on time and with good quality.

3. Incident Management & Operational Support

• Support, update, repair, modify and develop existing software and generic applications

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology / Computer science / Electronics stream or Master of Computer applications.

Experience Required

• 10+ years of relevant IT and application development and maintenance experience using .NET / Java based technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in progressively more challenging and responsible roles working with global teams.

Key Skills and Knowledge

• Experience in lead, design, develop and support applications with below skills
• Programming Technologies - .NET / Java, Angular
• Database - Microsoft SQL Server, No-SQL Databases
• Reports - Power BI / equivalent
• Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud service provider.
• Agile development methodology concepts & experience in Scrum Framework.
• Demonstrate excellent technical and communication skills to work in dynamic & global environment.
• Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to evaluate options and implement solutions
• Judgment & Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
