Designing and developing a optimised electrical power system (power generation, distribution and storage)
Design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of high reliability electronics for airborne and space missions.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop schematics and PCB layouts.
Meeting with design and engineering teams to determine hardware requirements.
Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure hardware-software integration.
Developing and maintaining Schematics for the architecture and PCB layout design for various embedded hardware systems.
Selecting and scouting various components for embedded hardware system
Coordinating with partners for fabrication and testing of the system according to aerospace standards (AS9100)
Requirements
Bachelors/Masters in ECE/Electrical or other relevant scientific or engineering fields
0-2 years of hands-on experience in working with electronics and an understanding of the process from defining the requirements to subsystem level architecture, design, validation, and production
Excellent conceptual knowledge of Analog Electronics and Power Electronics
Strong working knowledge of best practices for military/space grade PCB layout and fabrication
Solid understanding of timing principles, including clock domain crossing and timing closure.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Solid programming skills (C / C++)
Hands-on industry experience with:
Power budgeting and board-level component selection.
Battery pack design, charge/discharge simulation, testing, and implementation.
