SQL Developer - Design & Maintenance (8-10 yrs)

Job Title : SQL Developer.

Project Location : HYD. Client. Banking domain.

Notice period : Max up to 30 days who is currently serving it only.

Duration : Fulltime role.

Mode of interview : Videos.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex database solutions using SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database systems.

- Create and maintain database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Develop and implement ETL processes for data integration and transformation.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security.

- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as index rebuilding, query optimization, and database tuning.

- Proactively identify and resolve database performance issues.

- Analyze query execution plans and implement performance optimization strategies.

- Monitor database performance and implement proactive measures to prevent bottlenecks.

- Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures.

- Ensure data quality and consistency through data validation and cleansing.

- Develop and maintain data backup and recovery strategies.

- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.

- Lead and mentor a team of SQL developers, providing technical guidance and support.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. -

- Assist in project planning, estimation, and task assignment.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze database requirements.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for database development.

- Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback.

- Diagnose and resolve complex database issues and errors.

- Provide timely and effective support to application development teams.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including database design documents, data dictionaries, and user manuals.

- Prepare and present reports on database performance, issues, and solutions.

- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements for SQL Developer Role :

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization techniques.

- Experience with ETL processes and data integration.

- Strong understanding of data modeling and database architecture.

- Experience with database administration tasks.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
