Job Description


Tool Maker
ROLES RESPONSIBLITIES:
a . Accurately reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
b . Operate all Standard Toolroom machinery including milling, drilling, lathe machines
c . Final grinding and polishing of each tool after hardening plus the final assembly of complete moulds
d . Fitting and assembly of final mould as per STD practice
e . Verification of inspection reports to validate the mouls
f . Trial trouble shoot ( Debugging activity of trial samples )
g . Manufacture Jigs Fixtures, Prototype tooling parts and Test fixtures to support the manufacturing processes across the facility
h . Active participation and facilitation of continuous improvements to tooling and production methods
i . Maintaining and updating relevant documentation
j . Working as part of a team to ensure set targets for delivery, quality and efficiency are met.
REQUIRED SKILL:
*Must be skilled at reading blueprints, charts, and tables.
*Must have thorough knowledge of principles of operation of moldmaking tools, machining methods, and typical mold tooling material.
*Must have skills necessary to perform bench work including matching, polishing, stoning, and assembly.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
1. GD T
2. Manufacturing processes ( For process planning the elements )
