Engineer - QMS (High pressure Aluminum Die Casting)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that the QMS is aligned with the company's business objectives and strategic plans.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Identify and document process controls to prevent defects and ensure product quality.
• Conduct FMEA studies to identify potential failures and risks in the manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate potential failures.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand QMS procedures and requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of QMS procedures, audits, training, and process improvements.
• Prepare reports on QMS performance, including metrics and trends.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of quality management principles, including ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
