Job Description:
What are we looking for?
- To work in the strategy function for design and deployment of the organization's strategic roadmap and business initiatives.
- The role requires you to be an independent thinker who can come with new ideas / thoughts to augment organisation's performance and see it through.
What does the job entail?
- Lead development of financial & non-financial goals for the organization.
- Assist in the creation of frameworks and analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Conduct analysis on topics such as new market opportunities, strategic initiatives, business development, competitive landscape, and cross-business segment opportunities and provide guidance to leadership on responses to those actions.
- Work on a diverse set of initiatives with department heads & cross-functional teams.
- Support business teams to deliver on their financial goals such as P/L, Cost of acquisition, EPI and non-financial goals such as improving of business efficiencies, C-SAT, E-SAT, etc.
- Architect the business updates for the Board Meeting, MBRs.
Education & other Qualification:
- Candidates having 4 - 9 years of experience in the Insurance sector (in a strategy/ product/ business planning/ transformation role), or Tier I consulting firm (working with BFSI clients on strategy projects).
- MBA (Tier I institute only, with strong CGPA/ academic achievements).
- Candidates with prior experience in Life Insurance sector will be preferred.
Essential skills:
- High business acumen and strong problem-solving ability; comfort with ambiguity and strong bias for action.
- Superior analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills to explain complex ideas (verbal, written, and long-form) and to drive difficult conversations with empathy.
- Ability to drive outcomes, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders & internal teams.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to see through processes/gaps and identify key solutions.
- Ability to take on diverse tasks, undertake & share data analysis and insights for management action.
- Proficient in MS Office skills - Excel, Word, Power Point.
