Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager Sales (FMCG) to develop and implement sales strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
1. Develop and execute national sales strategies in FMCG
2. Conduct market analysis and competitor research. Focus on General Trade (GT)
3. Identify business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
Team Management:
1. Lead and manage sales teams (regional, national, or international).
2. Sales Team Leadership
3. Develop and implement sales training programs.
4. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Customer Relationships:
1. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors
2. Negotiate contracts and agreements.
3. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
Business Development:
1. Identify new business opportunities.
2. Develop and implement plans to expand product portfolio.
3. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams.
Financial Management:
1. Manage sales budgets and forecasts.
2. Analyze sales data and provide insights.
3. Ensure sales targets are met.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in FMCG.
3. Proven track record of sales growth and leadership.
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
5. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
