Senior Research Analyst

The Sr. Analyst hiring process should focus on the following KRAs to understand the capabilities being displayed by the Sr. Analyst.

• English/Grammar Intuitiveness, conveying intended meaning clearly with depicted insights

• Ability to do secondary research and data gathering through authentic sources

• Technical knowledge of the core domain, articulating it to establish the impact on the target market

• Rationale thinking to link statements together to present a cohesive analysis

• Must be able to properly assess the financials of a company along with understanding their place in the industry

• Ability to manage small teams of 3-5 members when handling projects. Should be able to handle project deadlines while handling project members.

• Communication of Inputs and Knowledge

• Ability to assess market sizing and forecast utilising both secondary and primary research and data rationale.

• Ability to do quality check (QC) a report along with qualitative and quantitative information

Responsibilities

The Sr. Analyst role is focused on the following roles and responsibilities.

• Develop market expertise in the core domain

• Contribute market insights and reports on specific topics related to the industries associated with the domain

• Coordinate and handle a team when working on projects to ensure deadline is met

• Conduct primary and secondary research to execute market research assignments and consulting projects.

• Develop relationships and conduct interviews with industry experts to gather primary data to enhance market research reports data validation

• Produce articles on specialised topics in the industries stated above to showcase depth of knowledge and foresee the market movement

• Analyse Market Data and provide forecasts on assigned topics

• Responsible for training the cluster teammates

• Attending pre-sales calls understanding client requirement, and creating proposal as per client request

• Thorough in Excel ME sheet creation, able to understand and provide market numbers from the Global level to segmental country level estimation
