Job Description
- Develop new and improved products to meet customer demands in a rapid and timely manner.
- Work closely with Sales to develop and recommend products, as well as application equipment and techniques.
- Support Sales during field trial and customer complaint that may require travelling to customer site as and when needed.
- Assist manufacturing operations in the development and implementation of new/modified production methods to improve quality and increase profitability.
- Prepare and analyze field samples to aid product-line chemists and Technical Service/Sales in providing the customer with timely responses to their needs.
- Perform separation procedures to qualify and quantify the composition of competitive products obtained by Sales.
- Provide technical support to all company departments.
- Organize and summarize work in the form of technical reports.
- Maintain lab 5S, and ensure safe workplace, follow compliance as per company norms and local authority.
- 10 to 12 years of experience in a Multi National Company.
- Minimum of master s degree in chemistry or related field.
- Minimum of ten years of industrial experience, including formulating or an advanced degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Working knowledge of lubricants and surface chemistry.
- Knowledge of Synthetic organic chemistry, polymer and materials chemistry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, electronic literature research and scientific software (i.e. ChemDraw, SciFinder, Belstein).
