Position: Trainer for MFI Business
Location: Regional Office/Visiting branch offices

Role Overview
The Field Training Staff will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and compliance of
branch-level employees by conducting comprehensive training programs. They will ensure
adherence to audit parameters, observe branch operations, and support the overall
development of the organizations workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development:
1. Conduct training sessions for field and branch staff on various operational, compliance,
and customer service topics.
2. Develop and update training content, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning
modules, aligned with company objectives.
3. Organize and deliver refresher courses to ensure consistent knowledge updates.
4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and
feedback mechanisms.
Branch Compliance and Audit:
5. Ensure branches meet all audit parameters during visits by checking adherence to
operational, financial, and compliance standards.
6. Identify gaps during branch visits and collaborate with branch managers to implement
corrective measures.
7. Provide detailed reports on branch performance and compliance observations.
Field Observations:
8. Conduct on-site observations of field staff during client interactions to ensure adherence
to company guidelines and quality standards.
9. Offer on-the-job coaching and mentoring to staff, addressing gaps in field operations and
client management.
10. Gather insights from field observations to improve training content and organizational
processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
11. Maintain records of training sessions conducted, including participant attendance,
feedback, and assessment results.
12. Prepare and submit detailed visit reports summarizing training outcomes, branch
compliance status, and field observations.
13. Collaborate with the Regional Office to ensure consistent reporting and process
alignment.
Skills:
- Strong training and facilitation skills.
- Ability to create and deliver training content.
- Good understanding of microfinance operations, audit parameters, and compliance
Requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel extensively to branch locations.
Language: Fluency in regional languages is an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Number of training sessions conducted and participant satisfaction scores.
2. Improvement in branch audit scores post-training.
3. Reduction in non-compliance cases across branches.
4. Quality and timeliness of reports and training content developed.
Work Environment
The role requires travel to branch locations, field visits, and interaction with staff at all
