The Growth/Revenue Owner is a highly analytical, data-driven leader who will take full ownership of Freakins' demand side, ensuring sustainable revenue growth across all distribution channels. This high-impact role requires a strong foundation in critical thinking, leadership, and technical problem-solving to drive the core metrics of CAC:LTV, funnel conversion, inventory management, and contribution margin optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue and P&L Ownership:
- Own and drive revenue growth across all demand channels-DTC website, mobile app, and marketplaces.
- Manage the CAC:LTV equation to ensure profitable customer acquisition and retention.
- Oversee and optimize website and app funnels, ensuring seamless user experiences to drive maximum conversion.
Performance Marketing:
- Lead off-platform marketing efforts, including Meta and Google ads, with proficiency in ad structures and scaling campaigns.
- Engage directly with Meta and marketplace teams to leverage partnerships and optimize revenue-driving initiatives.
Inventory and Pricing Strategy:
- Own the inventory ordering algorithm, continuously refining inputs for optimal inventory days on hand (DOH) and turns.
- Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize contribution margin while driving inventory efficiency.
Website and App Ownership:
- Oversee UI/UX and site merchandising with a dedicated team to enhance user engagement and conversion.
- Continuously optimize sort orders and content to strike a balance between newness, bestsellers, and audience relevance.
Process and Automation:
- Implement engineering-driven solutions to streamline workflows and automate routine processes for greater efficiency.
- Establish and refine SOPs across all demand-side functions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
1. Leadership & Ownership:
- Grit, maturity, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
2. Analytical and Strategic Thinking:
- Strong first-principles problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and platforms for data visualization and performance tracking.
3. Technical & Process Orientation:
- Systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to design and implement scalable processes and workflows.
4. Marketing Expertise:
- Proficiency in running and scaling Meta and Google ads campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with marketplace marketing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution (IITs, NITs, etc.) is mandatory.
- MBA from a premier business school is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of experience in growth/revenue management roles, ideally in DTC or e-commerce businesses.
Core Metrics of Success:
- CAC:LTV Ratio.
- Revenue and Contribution Margin Growth.
- Funnel Conversion Rates (website/app).
- Inventory DOH and Turns.
- ROI on Performance Marketing Spend.
- Site Merchandising Efficiency and UI/UX Metrics.
