Job Description
Experience : Around 10 to 15 years of experience in Consulting Industry.
Profile:
- To lead identification of new business opportunities related to Consulting /Engineering projects in urban/ rural development, industrial development, tourism, infrastructure development, roads & highways, environment & climate change, PPP, buildings, etc. to source and secure business in India and outside India.
- Formulation as well as review of bidding documents, assess project requirements, finalize teaming arrangements, conduct market intelligence, review of contract conditions, prepare pre-bid queries, attend pre-bid meetings, finalization of proposals, make the presentations related to business development as and when required.
- Co-ordinate with business verticals to prepare detailed program of inputs and deadlines for bid preparation and submission.
- Developing market penetration strategies with respect to sectors, services & geographies.
- Develop marketing material and promote the company with Government/ Semi-government/ PSU/ Private clients.
- Identify potential partners for long term growth through JVs /Consortiums/Acquisitions
- Maintain good working relationship with the other companies present in the sector.
- Maintain database of key experts and companies; identification and sourcing of experts; and follow up with external consultants.
- Maintain centralized database on business development efforts covering proposals evaluated, go no-go analysis, competition benchmarking, win/lose analysis, market trends, etc.
- To prepare and present weekly Business Development Reports to the senior management team.
- Should have sound understanding of the planning and infrastructure sector and its development in the country and understanding of the competition.
- Sound knowledge of working on EoIs/proposals of bilateral and multilateral funding agencies like ADB, World Bank, etc.
- Should have the tenacity as well as maturity to interact with stakeholders at different levels particularly the bureaucracy and its systems.
- Should possess good analytical as well as presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
