Primary Role: We are seeking an experienced Tender Manager to oversee and enhance our tendering process. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, ensure timely tender submissions, monitor vendor registration, and meet pre-qualification criteria. This role involves managing a dedicated tender team to prepare and submit comprehensive bid documents, ensuring compliance, and handling pricing on government portals. The Tender Manager will be the main point of contact for all Business Heads for any coordination and support required by them.

Job Responsibilities:
Opportunity Identification: Actively seek and identify potential tendering opportunities while ensuring error-free preparation and submission of all bids.
Tender Submission: Monitor the tender submission process to ensure adherence to guidelines and compliance requirements.
Bid Document Management: Coordinate with the tender and sales team to ensure the all bid submission documents compiled, ensuring completeness and accuracy while adhering to customer timelines.
Commercial Review: Evaluate the commercial aspects of bids, communicating any changes in requirements promptly.
Tender Record Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive record of all tenders and bids, tracking their outcomes and statuses.
Data Management: Oversee the Central Data Library and coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for the necessary documents to ensure accurate and centralised data handling. The Tender Manager will be presenting the Tender Analytics to the Management and Busines Heads on a quarterly basis.
Market Intelligence: Analyze previous bids, conduct competitor analysis, and develop market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and better pricing stratgies.
Financial Management: Coordinate with the finance department for timely preparation of Earnest Money Deposits (EMD) and Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG) and ensuring timely follow-ups on refunds.
GeM Management: Continuously monitor strive to improve the companies Government eMarketplace (GeM) ratings. Coordinate with the GeM when required for new category creations, tender clarifications etc.
Follow-Up Monitoring: Regularly monitor and follow up on Bank Guarantees (BG) and PBG submissions and collections.
Vendor Registration: Ensure timely vendor registration on government portals and maintain regular follow-ups related to tendering processes.
Job Specification :
Experience in product uploading, bidding, and pricing on Govt portal
Good knowledge of Government E-Marketplace / various state central public procurement portals.
Good Technical and Commercial evaluations skills
Good Analytical Negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the GFR rules and government procurement policies.
Proven experience in tender management and bid preparation on both GeM CPP Portals
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software and government portals.
Total Experience ranging between 8-12 yrs
(Minimum 3 years experience in IVD / Biomedical / Medical Device Industry)
