You will provide engineering leadership for the SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP DataSphere products within FCSD. This role is crucial in leveraging data to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business decision-making within the parts and service ecosystem. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of these platforms.

You'll have. . .

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related).
• Proven professional experience of 5+ years working with SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP DataSphere, ideally in a large enterprise environment. Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling is critical.
• Excellent understanding of data visualization principles and best practices for creating effective dashboards and reports.
• Experience with designing and implementing data pipelines using various technologies (e. g. , cloud-based data integration tools).
• Knowledge of SAP's broader ecosystem and how Analytics Cloud and DataSphere integrate with other SAP solutions.
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive API economy and solutions, leveraging APIs for data integration and automation.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and navigate complex decision-making in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and lead teams, including collaboration with engineers, designers, and go-to-market leads.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of solutions leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics related to parts, service, and customer interactions.
• Design and implement data pipelines and integrations utilizing SAP DataSphere to consolidate and process data from various sources within FCSD and across the Ford enterprise. This will involve working with various data formats and technologies to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Provide thought leadership for the development, architecture, technology, and tools used within the SAP Analytics Cloud and DataSphere ecosystem. Drive the adoption of best practices and ensure high-quality software engineering.
• Collaborate with other Product and Product Line Anchors to reduce complexity across the portfolio, enhance interoperability between services, and make key design decisions.
• Innovate and operate with an iterative, agile, and user-centric perspective.
• Clearly communicate technology strategy and vision to team members and internal/external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate software engineering excellence through active participation in design, development, testing, and code reviews.
• Lead delivery of all approved projects , ensuring timely and high-quality completion of design, development, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Support implementation of other initiatives and technical upgrades to the SAP platform.
• Be accountable for issue resolution and service level performance.
• Ensure appropriate security and controls are instituted and implemented within delivered solutions.
• Ensure complia nce with Ford Enterprise Technologies architecture standards for SAP implementations.
• Manage resources , including planning, acquisition, development, satisfaction, workload management, and compensation planning for relevant team members.
