SAP Test Lead

Ford has embarked on a journey to transform legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to SAP S/4 HANA for 60+ global sites. We are seeking an experienced SAP Test lead with good experience in SAP MM/PP module to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our SAP applications. As the SAP Test Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to define testing goals, establish protocols, and execute tests in alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in SAP environments and testing methodologies will be essential in identifying potential risks, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of testers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in testing practices. Your ability to communicate clearly and manage stakeholder expectations will be critical to the success of our projects and overall operational excellence.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role engaged in testing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications.
• 7+ years of testing experience in one of the following modules - SAP MM or SAP PP
• 5+ years of experience in testing SAP S/4 HANA applications.
• Good knowledge of SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP) business process and test scenarios corresponding to the same.
• Good knowledge of data integration testing on interfaces coming in and going out of SAP systems.
• Knowledge on agile methodologies and exposure to agile management tools like Jira and Rally
• Prioritization skills involving competing interest. Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques.
• Good skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a global environment and collaborating with teams across different time zones.
• Experience working on SAP test automation using Tricentis TOSCA or MF UFT
• Nice to have experience working on Alteryx tool or any other data validation tool from the perspective of data integration testing.

• Work as test lead for implementation of SAP S/4 HANA - MM/PP module.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT functional teams and system integrator to gather and analyze requirements for testing.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and by going through the functional specifications, technical specifications, and BPD.
• Lead and manage the testing team to ensure effective execution of test cases and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the deployment of SAP solutions.
• Report and communicate testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders.
• Ensure the adherence of testing activities to industry standards and best practices.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools within the organization.
• Perform data integration testing on interfaces coming in and going out of SAP systems.
• Provide KT to test automation resources and enable test automation using TOSCA.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues related to test automation using TOSCA.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot errors and optimize test scripts.
