Food Production Associate - Commi III (Tandoor)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Tandoor - Commi III to join our culinary team at Gateway Coonoor. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality tandoor dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, and providing excellent support to the culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook tandoor dishes to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards

- Assist in food preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and portioning

- Operate tandoor equipment safely and efficiently

- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery

- Maintain inventory of tandoor supplies and ingredients

- Participate in menu planning and development

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant

- Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and recipes

- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Food Safety and Hygiene certification (desirable)
