Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ERP Sales Manager with a proven track record of driving ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software sales. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in ERP sales, with a deep understanding of the ERP landscape and the ability to sell complex solutions to large enterprises. This individual will be responsible for managing the sales cycle, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in a highly competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive ERP software sales, targeting large enterprise customers across various industries.
    • Lead end-to-end sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions.
    • Identify new business opportunities and build a robust pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other departments to optimize sales approaches and campaigns.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing client organizations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their ERP needs and tailoring solutions to meet specific business challenges.
    • Provide ongoing customer support to ensure customer satisfaction, engagement, and long-term success.
  3. Sales Presentations & Product Demonstrations:
    • Lead product presentations, software demonstrations, and executive briefings to showcase the value and capabilities of ERP solutions.
    • Clearly communicate the benefits of the ERP system, addressing the unique needs of each client.
    • Work with technical teams to ensure the correct product specifications are presented to clients.
  4. Market & Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest ERP trends, market conditions, and competitors offerings to effectively position the companys solutions.
    • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to ensure that the companys ERP solution meets market demands.
  5. Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed sales reports, including tracking leads, sales activities, and outcomes.
    • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance metrics to senior management, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  6. Contract Negotiation & Closing:
    • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the customer and the company.
    • Close deals efficiently and manage the handover process to the implementation teams.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in ERP sales, with a proven track record of successfully selling ERP software solutions to large enterprises.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar), along with deep knowledge of business processes across various industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare, finance).
  • Sales Skills: Expertise in consultative selling, complex solution sales, and a strong ability to close deals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales and business development.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into ERP solutions.
