Java Backend Engineer - Spring Boot (7-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement and manage different types of API models (REST, SOAP, gRPC) and understand their respective pros and cons.

- Develop and implement API contract testing and management strategies.

- Develop and deploy applications on the Azure cloud platform.

- Collaborate with frontend engineers and other stakeholders to define API specifications and ensure seamless integration.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and backend development technologies and best practices.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on API work.

- 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Java.

- 2+ years of experience with Azure cloud platform.

- Hands-on experience dealing with and implementing different types of API models (REST, SOAP, gRPC) and understanding their pros and cons.

- Knowledgeable in the best practices in API contract testing and management.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
