Database Developer - PL-SQL (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PL/SQL Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing PL/SQL code, ensuring high performance and availability of databases, and supporting application teams with database-related queries and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :

PL/SQL Development :

- Write, test, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

- Design and implement complex database objects and queries to support application requirements.

Database Optimization :

- Analyze and improve query performance and storage efficiency.

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of PL/SQL code and database operations.

Database Design and Management :

- Participate in the design and implementation of database schemas and structures.

- Manage and maintain data integrity, security, and backups.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with application developers to ensure seamless integration of database components.

- Provide database-related support and issue resolution to other teams.

Documentation and Standards :

- Create and maintain technical documentation for database development and processes.

- Ensure compliance with database development standards and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming.

- Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing.

- Experience with query optimization and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Oracle Database tools like SQL-Plus, TOAD, or SQL Developer.

- Exposure to performance tuning tools and techniques.

Preferred Knowledge :

- Experience with database migration and version upgrades.

- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.

- Knowledge of ETL processes or tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications :
