Technical Lead - IoT (6-15 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Project Leadership : Lead IoT projects from initial concept through deployment, ensuring they meet business objectives, are on schedule, and are aligned with industry standards.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable and secure IoT solutions.

- Team Management : Define project roadmaps, set priorities, and ensure the successful delivery of tasks through effective management of the technical teams.

- Technical Point of Contact : Act as the primary technical lead and point of contact for IoT projects, providing guidance and support to the development teams and clients.

- Solution Design : Guide the design and development of Azure-based IoT solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and business requirements.

- Customer Engagement : Present IoT solutions to clients, gather feedback, and ensure solutions are refined and enhanced to meet customer expectations.

- Training & Support : Provide training and knowledge transfer to both customers and internal teams on IoT solutions and best practices.

- Adherence to Best Practices : Ensure IoT solutions follow architecture guidelines, coding standards, and design principles, while also meeting project timelines and budgets.

- Risk Management : Identify risks early and proactively propose mitigation strategies, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 6 years of experience in IoT solutions, with 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing IoT projects, particularly in Azure.

- IoT Expertise : Strong technical knowledge of Azure IoT services, such as IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Digital Twins, and Time Series Insights.

- Cloud Architecture : Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience in deploying scalable and secure IoT solutions.

- Project Management : Proven experience in leading projects, defining roadmaps, setting priorities, and managing team deliverables.

- Leadership & Communication : Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor teams, and strong communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Client Interaction : Strong experience working directly with clients, understanding their requirements, and ensuring successful delivery and satisfaction.

- Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical issues in IoT and cloud environments.

- Team Collaboration : Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of projects.

- Agile Methodology : Experience working in Agile environments and managing iterative delivery cycles.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : Certifications in Azure IoT or related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure IoT Developer) are highly preferred.

- Security Expertise : Familiarity with IoT security best practices and secure data handling in cloud environments.

- DevOps Knowledge : Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

- Data Analytics : Experience with IoT data analytics using Azure services like Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Lake, or similar tools.
