Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our finance team.
- The ideal candidate will lead a team of account managers, ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence in financial management.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing client relationships and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their financial needs and goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance, to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights to support decision-making and optimize client financial strategies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in financial software, leveraging technology to enhance team efficiency and service delivery.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e., CA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the finance industry, with a strong background in client management and financial operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
