About the job:
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Financial Modeling Specialist to develop and deliver tailored financial models for our clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, experience in client-facing roles, and expertise in creating complex financial models that address various client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to understand their financial modelling needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Gather and Analyse client data to build and refine customized financial models.
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive financial models for clients, including budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
- Create models that support clients business decisions, investment evaluations, and strategic planning.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to effectively communicate modelling results and insights to clients.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure models meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial modelling to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.
- Seek feedback from clients to continuously enhance and improve modelling processes and outputs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e., CA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience in financial modelling, preferably with a focus on client services or consulting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial functions.
- Experience with financial modelling software and tools (e., Python, R, SQL) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and visualization is a plus.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing client relationships and expectations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial modelling and reporting
