Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales/Proposal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales, providing customers with tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver technical proposals for mechanical products and solutions within assigned deadline.
• Collaborate with the sales team & other departments to understand customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed quotations including pricing, technical specifications and delivery timelines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process.
• Ability to able to take initiatives in sales development.
• Follow-up with customers on proposals submitted and maintain record of updates.
• Preparation and timely submission of reports on weekly, monthly & yearly basis.
• Achieve targets as per assigned KRA & KPI.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify potential areas for product improvement.

Qualifications :

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or proposal engineering in a mechanical or manufacturing environment related to capital equipment.
• Knowledge of project techno-commercial documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and CAD software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in business development or sales management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
