What this role is about :

You will be part of the Collections Operations team at Fi and program manage the overall collections charter for any secured or unsecured lending products across our partner ecosystem.

What will you be doing :

- Responsible for monitoring, controlling and reporting on key metrics on portfolio performance to all key stakeholders.

- Institutionalise robust feedback mechanism through hind-sighting of delinquent customers to improve credit risk policies.

- Provide thought leadership and guide the organisation on building a state of the art collections function.

- Effectively engage business finance to budget for and help plan, manage and optimize overall Cost of collections.

- Drive the process excellence & innovation charter through product interventions, workflow automations & partnership opportunities to help control delinquencies.

- Build a quantifiable deeper understanding of customer segments and formulate dynamic strategies and customized curing approaches for each.

- Engage and collaborate with internal user risk and credit risk teams to develop early warning signals and provide feedback to existing signals.

- Explore and experiment with network, processes and collections constructs to keep optimizing ways of working and be ahead of the pack.

- Be the compliance custodian for collections and standardize and implement a code of conduct across processes, communications and other touch points.

- Build and leverage Industry connects for continued market research, benchmarking and uplevelling of internal collections policies.

- Identify and surface partner pain points and opportunities for improvements and find structural solves to achieve business goals.

- Set aspirational performance goals for the team and drive a culture that thrives on consistently exceeding targets and delivering results.

You should apply if you have/are :

- Proficient knowledge of Project/Program Management principles and processes.

- Experience with cross functional technical teams and business units to design, develop, and implement new systems or solutions.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies.

- Analytical thinker with a proven ability to probe, question and get "under the hood" of established business operations and processes.

- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple, disparate projects and/or stakeholder groups

Experience with one or more of the following tools:

- SPSS, SAS, R or other statistical software packages - SQL or comparable data querying packages

- Excel skills (intermediate to advanced proficiency)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities

- Ability to use hard data and metrics to make and support decisions

- Demonstrate organizational skills, flexibility and ability to produce results in a fast paced environment.
