Job Description
FNP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for the Accounts Receivable function within the Global Shared Services (GSS) division. This role is responsible for managing the accounts receivable operations for domestic and international markets, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and efficient reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing receivable processes and supporting the company s financial health.
Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Operations: - Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process for multiple entities, including domestic and international operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices and statements.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Assess creditworthiness of customers and recommend credit limits based on financial analysis.
- Perform regular credit reviews and manage credit risks effectively.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts and address discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and present accounts receivable aging reports, collection summaries, and other key performance metrics to management.
- Ensure accurate application of payments received to the respective accounts.
- Resolve any unapplied or misapplied cash transactions in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls for all AR processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, ensuring timely support for both internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in AR processes, leveraging technology and automation tools.
- Collaborate with IT and process improvement teams to implement best practices and system enhancements.
- Work closely with other finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Treasury, and General Ledger teams, to ensure alignment.
- Partner with sales and customer service teams to resolve client disputes and streamline AR processes.
- Act as a point of contact for GSS AR-related escalations and queries.
- Provide support for transitioning new AR processes into the GSS framework.
- Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. CA Inter/ICWA Inter/MBA in Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounts receivable management, including exposure to global operations.
- Prior experience working in a Global Shared Services environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Navision, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
