Job Description
- Minimum in similar position with strong background of production area and solid knowledge of pastry product, wedding cake and special character.
- Must have the ability to take charge in absence or day off of pastry chef to ensure the smooth running operation.
- Must have knowledge of all standard kitchen equipment and appliances. Taking action if any issues.
- Must have strong the leadership skills to organise, train the team, delegate and motivate a team.
- Understand and able to make request for ordering, following up the ingredients, receiving the product by checking the quality based on HACCP standard.
- Able to make recipes and cost together with Head Pastry Chef.
- Must ensure all the critical control point implement properly by making the check list based on the food Hygiene system from Personal grooming, Temperature check, Date label, Expiry, FIFO, stock and storage control.
